The Dawson Dental Centre team strongly believes that children should begin their oral health journey starting at a young age. By starting at a young again, this helps children prepare for a lifetime of good oral care and hygiene and can lessen their fear of dentists. As Burnaby Dental Clinic, we follow the Canadian Dental Association’s recommendation that children have an assessment by a dentist within 6 months of the eruption of their first tooth, or by one year of age, whichever comes first.
At Dawson Dental Centre, we are pleased to offer free “Happy Visits” to children under the age of 2. These no charge visits are an excellent way to introduce children to what happens during a dental visit and allows them to become comfortable and familiar with the entire dental office experience.
